RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON STORM
SEWER CONSTRUCTION (DISTRICT #16), NEW FORD TOWN
ADDITION, CITY PROJECT N0. 639
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following area:
East bath Street, Highway #36 to 20th Avenue
East 6~+th Street, 21st Avenue to Standish"Avenue
East 65th Street, Highway #36 to 19th Avenue
East 65th Street, 21st Avenue to 165' E. of 21st
East 66th Street, 19th Avenue to 21st Avenue
20th Avenue, East 6~+th Street to 330' S. of 6kth
20th Avenue, East 66th Street to 330' N. of 66th
21st Avenue, East 66th Street to 330' N. of 66th
22nd Avenue, East 63rd Street to East 6~+th Street
22nd Avenue, East 66th Street to 170' N. of 66th
Alley of Block 6 from Standish Avenue to midblock"line of Block 5
Midblock line of Block 5 from alley Block 5 to Ponding Area Block 12
Standish Avenue from alley line Block 6 to 200' North
Midblock line of Block 6 from alley line to 150' North
150' North of 65th Street from 22nd Avenue to Ponding Area
21st Avenue from 330' N. of 66th to midblock line of Block 5
by storm sewer construction and appurtenances thereto and to assess all property
benefitted for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement.
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates,-Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for. study and that they be instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area
to be assessed, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
2. That the storm sewer improvement listed in this resolution shall here-
after be known as City Project No. 639.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction
Fund, such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the
construction of this project.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 8th day of March,
1971.
