RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION:OF REPORT ON STORM
SEWER CONSTRUCTION (DISTRICT #12}, CITY PROJECT N0. 635
WASHBURN AVENUE, 712 TO 72ND STREET
UPTON AVENUE, 712 TO 72ND STREET
VINCENT AVENUE, WASHBURN CIRCLE TO 77TH STREET
WEST 72PTD STREET, WASHBURN TO VINCENT AVENUE
WEST 73RD STREET, UPTON TO PONDING AREA #1
WEST 77TH STREET, VINCENT TO UPTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve-the following area:
Washburn Avenue, 712 to 72nd Street
Upton Avenue, 712 to 72nd Street
Vincent Avenue, Washburn Circle to 77th Street
West 72nd Street, Washburn to Vincent Avenue
West 73rd Street, Upton to Panding Area #1
West 77th Street, Vincent to Upton Avenue
by storm sewer construction and appurtenances thereto and to assess all property
benefitted for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area
to be assessed, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
2. That the storm sewer improvement listed in this resolution shall here-
after be known. as City Project No. 635.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the .Construction
Fund, such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished: for the
construction of this project.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 8th day of March,
1971.
