RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON STORM
SEWER CONSTRUCTION (DISTRICT #8) CITY PROJECT N0. 633
GARFIELD AVENUE, 68TH TO 69TH STREET
PILLSBURY AVENUE, 69TH TO 70TH STREET
WEST 68TH STREET, GARFIELD TO W. PLEASANT AVENUE
WEST 70TH STREET, PILLSBURY TO BLAISDELL AVENUE
WEST 74TH STREET, PLEASANT TO WENTWORTH AVENUE
AND
DETERMINING THE OVERSIZING OF PIPE IN THE VICINITY
0~ 68TH STREET AND WENTWORTH AVENUE
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the followin~~ area:
Garfield Avenue, 68th to 69th Street
Pillsbury Avenue, 69th to 70th Street
West 68th Street, Garfield to W. Pleasant Avenue
West 70th Street, Pillsbury to Blaisdell Avenue
West 74th Street, Pleasant to Wentworth Avenue
and
Determining the oversizing of pipe in the vicinity
of 68th Street-and Wentworth Avenue if necessary
by storm sewer construction and appurtenances thereto and to assess all property-
benefitted for all or a portion of the cost ,of the improvement. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the -City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates,
Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed to report to the
Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way, as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area to be assessed and as to whether
it should beat be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That the storm sewer improvement listed in this resolution shall hereafter
be known as City Project No. 633.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction Fund,
such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the construction
of this pro3ect.
