RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON STORM
SEWER CONSTRUCTION (DISTRICT #5), CITY PROJECT NOo 632

WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following area:
West 68th Street, Knox:.to Humboldt Avenue
West 69th Street, Vincent_to°Thomas Avenue
West.70% Street, Russell;•:ta`Penn Avenue
Upton Avenue, 701 to 71st Street
by storm sewer construction and appurtenances thereto and to assess al]. property
benefitted.for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t?ie City of. Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. '!'hat the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the-area
to be assessed, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
2. That the storm sewer improvement Tisted in this resolution shall here-
after be known as City Fro~ect No. 632..
3. That the cost for preliminary. work shall be paid. from .the Construction
Fund, such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the
construction of this project.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 8th day of March,
