RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON-STORM
SEWER CONSTRUCTION (DISTRICT #1), CITY PROJECT N0. 629

WEST 65TH STREET, WASHBURN TO UPTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following area:
Washburn Avenue, 63rd to 65th Street
Thomas Avenue, 64th to 65th-:Street Pond #11
West 63rd Street, Washburn to Vincent Avenue
West 64th Street, Washburn to Vincent Avenue
West 64th Street, Upton to-Sheridan Avenue
West 64th Street, Oliver to Knox Avenue
West 65th Street, Washburn to Upton Avenue
by storm sewer construction and appurtenances thereto and to assess all property
benefitted for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for .study and that they be instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area
to be assessed, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement and .the-estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
2. That the storm sewer improvement listed in this resolution shall hereafter
be known as City Project No. 629.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction
Fund, such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the
construction of this project.
