RESOLUTION N0. 4516
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SEASONAL LOAD RESTRICTIONS ON CITY STREETS
BE IT RESOI;VED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, as follows:
Seasonal load restrictions are hereby adopted, prohibiting-the operation
of any vehicles -upon~any~~street or-highway-of the city, if such vehicles have
an axle weight in excess~of 4 tons:
1. "Street or Highway" means•=the entre~width between~-boundary-lines~of
any roadway, street, highway, alley, or any other place open for the operation
of motor vehicles by the public,.
2. Such restrictions shall be for the period from Mareh 20th to May 15th,
1971.
3. The city administration is authorized and directed-~to-post such load
restrictions as-required by ,the provisions of Section 1+.06 of the Ordinance
Code of the city.
~+. This resolution is adopted pursuant to Section 1+x06 of the Ordinance
Code of the City. In addition to the exceptions provided for in-said section,
such load restrictions shall not be~applicable to school buses and buses
operated by the Metropolitan Transit Commission.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 8th day of March,
1971.
