1971-4512r~~ RESOLUTION No. 4512 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS FROM 1971 CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO VARIOUS BUDGET ACTIVITIES WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4454 appropriated funds for each department of the-city for the year 19719 and WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the general fund for various purposes, including 1971 salary ad3ustments9 and WHEREAS, Res©lution No, 4498 made appropriations from the 1971 contingency to various departments to implement part of the 1971 pay plan; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4510 declared the council's intent regarding the 1971 compensation agreement for members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 499 and WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that it will be necessary to distribute $21,709 of the 1971 contingency among various departments in the general fund in accordance with the 1971 pay plan for street, engineering, park maintenance, nature center, and health, and the various fringe benefits in these departments: NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield that the following transfers be made from the contingency appropriation: Department Public Works $18,.899.00 increase Parks and Recreation 5,930..00 increase Health 3,120..00 decrease Net transfer from contingency $21,709.00 Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 8th day of March, 1971. ~.
