RESOLUTION NO. 4511
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE 1971 SALARY' COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, Section 2.33 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield provides
that the assignment of classes to pay grades, the number of steps in each grade,
the bimweekly rates in each grade, the method of normal progression through the
pay grade and the work week in hours for each class be established by council
resolution, and
WHEREAS, the city administration has prepared a 1971 pay plan for the position
classifications included in the International Union of Operating. Engineers Local 49
according to the terms of the 1971 salary settlement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the city council do and hereby does
establish for the year 1971 the following pay plan, which is to be effective on
the first day of the pay period closest to January 1, 1971, and subject to the
provisions of the personnel rules and regulations ordinance.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following employees who receive less
than the agreed upon 1971 sixty dollar increase due to the Jacobs Company
recommended salary structure shall be granted a maximum increase equal to
sixty dollars with the provision that the rate is frozen until the employee leaves
the position or the pay grade is raised to cover his present rate:
