RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO AUSTIN
P. KELLER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, >+81 FRONT AVENUE, ST. PAUL,
MINNESOTA, FOR STORM SEWER CONSTRUCTION
CITY PROJECT NOS. 618, 619, 620 & 621

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Austin P. Keller Construction
Company, 1+81 Front Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible
bidder for the construction of City Project Nos. 618, 619, 620 &-621.
2. That the bid of Austin P. Keller Construction Company for the construction-
of the above referenced-project on a unit price basis, at the price contained in their
proposal of February 5, 1971, with an estimated construction cost of $297,112.30 is
hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between Austin P. Keller Construction Company and
the City of Richfield be given Clerk's File No. and be placed on file. That
said proposed contract for the construction of said City Projects is~hereby approved
and adopted and the°Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said contract for or on behalf of the City of Richfield and the Clerk is authorized
and directed to affix the City seal thereto:
1+.. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Construction Fund.
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price
which accompanies said proposed•contract is hereby accepted and approved.-
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security docu-
ments to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
Adopted by the City Council this 22nd day of February, 1971.
