RESOLUTIQN~RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARI{ING

WHEREAS, Mr: Ray M. Tharp, 3727 Hilltop Road,`~Hopkins-, Minnesota;~had an-off-street
parking agreement with the City~-of Richfield~relating-to~6529 Penn Avenue-South, which
contract bears the designation-of~Eontract No:~1052, and which contract was guaranteed
by a bond of the United States Fidelity and .Guaranty Company,~Baltimore;-Maryland, in
the sum of Five Thousand~Five Hundred~Fifty E~5,550;00) Dollars, and
WHEREAS, Mr.~Ray M: Tharp; hds complied with-the-°provisions-of+said agreement and
the United States Fidelity and`Guaranty Company now 'seeks to be relieved of any further
obligation under said-bond, and ~- ~ ••~
WHEREAS, there appears to be no 3ustification for~requiring~-Mr: Hay M. Tharp to
continue to provide a bond for-security on ~the~performance~of-said agreement:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as followsi'
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed~to release the United States
Fidelity and Guaranty Company #'or any-and ali~acts of Mr: Ray M: Tharp committed or-in=
tarred in violation~of said Contract Noo-1052 on and after the 8th~day of February, 1971,6
