RESOLUTION NO. 4503
RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO DISSOLUTION OF
SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER COMMISSION
WHEREAS, this municipality entered into a joint and cooperative agreement for
the establishment of the Suburban Sanitary Sewer Commission, during the year
1963, and
WHEREAS, such commission has accomplished its purposes, and
WHEREAS, sanitary sewage disposal facilities are now owned by and are the
responsibility o f the Metropolitan Sewer Board, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no reason for the continuance of the Suburban
Sanitary Sewer Commission, and
WHEREAS, such commission has funds remaining on hand contributed by its
members, including this municipality;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows;
1. This municipality herewith gives its consent to_ the dissolution of the
Suburban Sanitary Sewer Commission, contingent upon consent to such dissolution
by all other members of the commission.
2. Such consent shall be effective as soon as consent of all other members of
the commission has been receiv~~l_h~the-chairman of the commission.
3. Upon receipt of such consent by all member municipalities the officers of
the commission are authorized and directed to return all unexpended funds of the
commission to the municipalities which have been members, on a pro rata basis,
in proportion to contributions made by them .
