RESOLUTION No. 4498
RESOLUTION AUTHORT~ING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS FROM TIIE
1971 CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO VARIOUS BUDGET ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4454 appropriated funds for each department of the
city for the year 1971 and
WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made I.n the general fund for various
purposes including 1971 salary adjustments, and
WHEREAS, Resolutions Nos. 4487, 4488 and 4489 established the 1971 salary
compensation plans for police service, part-time and seasonal, and general services,
and it is hereby determined that it will be necessary to distribute $81,257 of the
contingency among various departmental budget activities in accordance with the
1971 pay plan for executive, legal, finance, planning, public safety, public works,
health, and parks and recreation, and the various fringe benefits in these departments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
that the following transfers be made from the contingency appropziatic~na
