RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASN OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Embers Restaurants
1664 University Avenue, St. Paul
Location: 6500 Perin Avenue South
Use: Restaurant
WHEREAS, Embers Restaurants, 1664 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, had an
off-street parking agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 6500 Penn Avenue
South, which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 2018 and which contract
was guaranteed by a bond of the North River Insurance Company of New York, N. Y., in
the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred ($3,500.00) Dollars,~and
WHEREAS; Embers Restaurants,~has complied with the provisions of said agreement and
the North River Insurance Company now seeks to be relieved of any further obligation under
said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring Embers Restaurants to
ontinue to provide a bond for security on the performance-of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the North River
Insurance Comp-any for any~~and all acts of Embers Restaurants committed or incurred in
violation of said Contract No. 2018 on and after the 9th day of November, 1970.
Adopted by the City Council this 9th day of November, 1970.
