Texas,-had an off-street parking .agreement with the City_of Richfield relating to_711-715-
West. 66th ..Street, which contract bears the designation .of~-Contract.No. 2024.and-which
contract was guaranteed by a bond of the Home Owners.2nsurance Company,..Chicago, Illinois,
in the sum:.:o>f...Three Thousand Six Hundred($3, 600.00 } Dollars , and
WHEREAS, the occupancy of this property has been changed: from the construction. of a
Fish-and Chips House and Pie House to a Pie House and Ice Cream Parlor to be constructed
by General Mills:, Inc., and
.WHEREAS, General Mills,. Inc. has provided a bond to cover the off-street parking
requirements. at this lpcation and there appears to be no 3ustification for requiring
Alfie's Fish &-Chips,~Inc. to continue to provide a bond.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Couneil of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as fo],lows :. .
That the City Manager is .hereby authorized and:directed:to.release: the. Home-0*~ners
Insurance Company, Chicago, .Illinois , .from .liability for any and a11. acts of..Alfie's_e.Fish
& Chips, Inc., committed :or incurred ~:n violation of said Contract No. 2024, on and after
the 13th day of :.October, 1970.
