RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
AGRICULTURE FOR RICHFIELD RECREATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000, FOR
URBAN AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has secured a grant from the Minnesota
Department of Agriculture in the amount of $75,000 to fund urban agricultural programs; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires the acceptance of grants by
resolution of the City Council, adopted by two-thirds majority of its members, expressing
such terms in full; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, that Richfield Recreation Services staff is authorized to accept the grant from
the Minnesota Department of Agriculture to fund urban agricultural programs.
