RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF LAND
LOCATED AT 63RD STREET AND PORTLAND AVENUE
FOR PARK PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Hennepin
County, as follows, to-wit:
1. It is hereby-determined to-be~necessary and expedient to the public
health, safety, convenience, prosperity and general welfare to acquire for
park and other-municipal purposes the following--described-property, to wit:
Tracts D, E. and G, Registered Land
Survey No 0 639"0
2. WHEREAS, the owners of such.property-have offered to sell the~s.ame
to the City of .Richfield for the sum of $5,200.00 plus assuming the cost of
the special assessments in the-amount of $377.91, and
3. WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that such offer is a fair and
reasonable price for the purchase of said properties and the same is hereby
accepted.
~+. The mayor; manager, finance officer and attorney are hereby authorized
and clirected to take such steps as may be necessary to effect the purchase of
said property. -
5. All ,monies payable as part of the purchase price of said properties
shall be`paid out of the Special Revenue•Fund. •
