RESOLUTION ADOPTI'~1G ASSESSMENT ON CITY PR®JECT N0. 612

1. That the pity clerk base with the assistance of the city engineers calculated
the proper amounts t® be assessed for the constuction of curb and gutter9 City
Pro3ect No. 612 against every assessable .lots piece or parcel of land specially
benefited thereby in accordance with. the provisions of laws and the proposed assess®
went so made up was filed with the city clerk for more than l5 days prior to the
assessment hearing and was open to public inspection during said period.
2. The notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed
assessment.
3• That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their
ob~ections9 if any9 to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said
public hearing. '
~.. That the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Y~o. 612
and after carefully considering all the facts9 the benefits to each lots piece
- -- or parcel of 7.and and fully advising itself in the premises, has found and determ
m3.raed and hereby declares that each and every lot9 pieces or parcel of land
3.ncluded in said prop®sed assessment roll was improved by reason of the constrzacm
Lion of said City Project No. 612 and has been and is specially benefited in the
amount set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite eaoh such lots piece or
parcel of land.
5. The proposed total assessment in the amount of ~~16.~5 is hereby affirmed9
adopted and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed. assessment
are affirmeda adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of
said lots pieces or parcels of land respectively9 and said amount so set out is
hereby levied against eaoh. of the respective lots pieces or parcels of land
therein describedo
6® Said assessment is hereby affirmede adopted confirmed and sha].7. be certified
by the city clerk and filed in his office9 and shall. thereupon be and constitute
the special assessment for said curb and gutter constx~uction~ City 1~r°o~ect Noo612.
~® The assessment with acc~°uing interests shall be a lien upon the property includ=
ed therein concurrent with general taxes and shall be payable in :equal annual
installments extending over a period of l0 yearso The first installment shall be
payable on the first Monday in January of 1,971. All assessments shall bear inter®
est at the rate of 6~ per annuine To the first installment shall be added interest
on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December ~l9 19`~l.®
To each. subsequent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid
installmentso
All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid over in thr~ same
manner as other municipal taxesm
