RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
- Mr. Joseph P. Nolan
3516 Arbor Lane, Hopkins
Location: 920 West 78th Street
Use: Sales and Service of Imported
Automobiles and Honda Motor Bikes
WHEREAS, Mr. Joseph P. Nolan, 3516 Arbor Lane, Hopkins, had anoff-street parking
agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 320 West 78th-Street, which contract
bears the designation of Contract No.-991 and which contract was guaranteed by a bond
of the Western Surety Company, Sioux Fa11s, South Dakota, in the sum of Three Thousand
Five Hundred Ninety Five ($3,595.00} Dollars, and
WHEREAS, said business is now owned and operated by Win Stephens Classic Cars,
2230 South Highway ~~100, and
WHEREAS, said Win Stephens Classic Cars has entered into an agreement with the
city to cover the completion of the off-street parking requirements at 920 West 78th
Street, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring Mr. Joseph P. Nolan
to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of~said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Western
Surety Company for-any and all acts of Joseph P. Nolan,°committed or incurred-in
violation of said Contract No. 991~on-and after the'24th day of~Angust, 1970.
