1970-4430rRESOLUTION N0, l+l+30 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ,ASSESNT OF CITY PROJECT N©® 587A, B, D, E, F, (3 ~~ BE IT RESOLVED by.the City Council of the City of Richfield' Hennepin County, Minnesota as followso lm That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineer, calculated the proper amounts to be assessed for the sidewalk construction, City Project Noa 5878 . `aga?.nst every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land specially benefited thereby in accordance w~.th the provisions of law and the proposed assessment so made up was filed with the city clerk for more than l5 days prior to the assessment hearing and was open ~to public inspection during said period0 2a That notice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed. assessmento 3® That an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their ob~ jections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said public hearing, 1~® Tha~'the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Noo 587, and after carefully considering all the facts, the benefits to each lot, piece or parcel of land :and fully advising itself in the premises., has found-and determined and hereby declares that each and. every lot, piece, or parcel of ].and included in said proposed assessment roll was improved by reason of the .construction of said City Project No® 587 and has been and is specially .benefited in the amount set out in said proposed assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of laude 5® The proposed total assessment in the amount of $8372.73 is hereby .affirmed, adopted, and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessments are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment-for each of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land theaein describedm . 6a Said a:-.~3ssment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and .shall be certified by the: city clerk acid filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute the' special assessment for said sidewalk construction, City Project No® 587® 7m The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a lien upon the property included therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equal annual install® ments extending over a period of 5 years, the first instalment shall be payable on the first Monday in January of 1971° .A,11 assessments shall bear interest at the rate of 6~ per annuaa To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31; 19710 To each subse'~ quent installment shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments@ All assessments and interest thereon shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as Other municip~ axes, Passed by the council of the City of Richfield, this ~l~th day of :,gst~, 1970m ~ •~M .
