RESOLUTION NO. 4425
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE 1970 SALARY COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, Section 2.33 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield provides
that the assignment of classes to pay grades, the number of steps in each grade, the
bi-weekly rates in each grade, the method of normal progression through the pay grade
and the work week in hours for each class be established by council resolution, and
WHEREAS, the city council has authorized the establishment of a Department of
Public Safety, and
WHEREAS, the city administration has recommended that this department be admin-
istered by a Director of Public Safety and that this position be assigned a certain grade
within the Administrative, Technical and Professional -pay schedule;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council do and hereby does
establish the position classification of Director of Public Safety and assigns this
position to the following grade level effective on the first day of the pay period closest
to August 10, 1970 and subject to the personnel rules and regulations ordinance.
