RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CITY PROJECT
N0. 613
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1969:
Curb and gutter on Colfax Avenue from 77~ Street to
Service Road Highway X494
WHEREAS, contract. costs have heen~paid-in the sum•of $550.05.
WHEREAS, other costs incurred are $110.94.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
1. That the cost of curb and gutter on Colfax Avenue from
77~ Street to Service•-Road Highway ~~494 to be•specially
assessed is hereby declared to -be at least 2Q% of total
cost or $660.99, and therefore this sum will be assessed
against privately--owned property benefited thereby: •~ -~
2. That said•assessment shall run for a period-of ten years.•
3. The city clerk ~shall`forthwith-calculate the graper•~amount to
be assessed for such improvement-against every assessable~lot,-
piece, or parcel of 1and~affected wfithout-regard to-cash va]:u-
ation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such
proposed-•assessment-in~his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such
proposed assessment: -
Passed by the city council of the City of Richfield this 27th day of July,
1970.
