RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO $E ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CITY PROJECT
N0. 612
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year, 169:
Curb and gutter on the South ~ of 77th Street from Lyndale
Avenue to Garfield Avenue
WHEREAS, contract costs have been paid in the sum of $579.02.
WHEREAS, other costs including right-of-way acquisition incurred are $1,712.53.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield, as
follows:
1. That the cost of curb and gutter on the South ~ of 77th Street
from Lyndale Avenue to Garfield Avenue to be specially assessed
is hereby declared to be at least 20% of total cost or $816.55,
and therefore this sum will be assessed against privately owned
property benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall run fora period of ten years.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper .amount to
be assessed for such improvement-against every-assessable lot,
piece, or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valu-
ation, as provided by law, and lie shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such
~,roposed assessment.
