RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO~BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CITY PROJECT
N0. 611
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed dur3.ng the year 1969:
Curb and gutter on Thomas Avenue-from 62nd~to 64th Street
WHEREAS, contract costs have been paid in the•sum-of -$13.,569.58.
WHEREAS, other costs incurred are $1,765.62.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
1. That the cost of curb and gutter on Thomas Avenue from 62nd
Street, to 64th=Street to be~specially assessed is hereby
declared to be at least 20% of total cost of $13,335.20,
and therefore this sum will be assessed against privately
owned property benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall run for a period-of ten years.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculates the proper amount ta~
be assessed for such-improvement against every assessable lot,
piece, or parcel of land affected without--regard to-cash valu=~
ation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment-in~his office for public inspection~o
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such
proposed assessment>
