RESOLUTION CALLING HEARING ON AUGUST 24, 1970
ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR 1969 ANNUAL STREET
IMPROVEMENT AND OILING PROGRAM, CITY PROJECT
N0. 585
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4412 passed by the council on the 27th day of
July, 1970, the city clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment
roll of the cost of the 1969 Annual Street Improvement and Oiling Program,
City Project No. 585, and
WHEREAS, the city clerk has notified the council that such proposed assess-
ment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the-24th day of August, 1970, in
the council chambers of -the Richfield City Hall at 7:1.5 P.M. to gals upon~~
such proposed assessment and at such-time -and -place all persons owning
property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be
heard with reference to such improvement. --
2. The city clerk is hereby .direbteid to. cause. a._notice.:tif ~_~he hea~iag
on the proposed assessment to be-publi$hed in the official newspaper at
least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice that
the total-cost of the improvement'fo-be assessed-wiil be $116;778:07.
