RESOLUTION DECT~ARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED--AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR CITY PROJECT NO`. 586
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the-year-1969:
Curb and gutter and concrete street surfacing on 76th Street
from Portland Avenue to Nicollet Avenue and from Penn Avenue
tv Sheridan`Avenue•. -
WHEREABy city share-of-casts have been paid in•the sum-of-$26,478:31.- •
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as follows:`
1. That the cost of curb-and gutter-and concrete street•surfacing~-
on 76th Street from Portland Avenue to N~.collet Avenue and-from
Penn Avenue to Sheridan Avenue to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be at least 20% of total cost or $9,390.55, and
therefore this sum will be assessed against privately owned
property- benefited •thereby~.
2. That said assessment shall run•for a period~of ten years.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith ca~:cuiate the proper amount to ~-
be assessed~for•such improvement against°-every assessable lot, ~~ ~ -
piece or parcel of land affected without regard to°-cash values--
tion, as provided,.by law, and he shall fife a copy of such pro-
posed assessment °3.n °his - off iee•~ f or publ~:c inspection.
4. The clerk, shall notify the council upon completion of such pro-
pased~assessment. - -
