RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Barbecue Inns International, Inc.
9001 East Bloomington Freeway, Minneapolis
Location: 6533 Vincent Avenue South
Use: Restaurant (Barbecue Inn)
WHEREAS, Barbecue Irene International, Inc. had an off-street parking agreement
with the City of Richfield relating to 6533 Vincent Avenue South, which contract bears
the designation of Contract No. 2029 and which contract was guaranteed by a bond of
the Allied Mutual Insurance Company, Des Moines, Iowa, in the sum of Four Thousand Five
Hundred ($4,500.00) Dollars,-and
WHEREAS, said Barbecue Inns International, Inc. will not construct a restaurant
at b533 Vincent Avenue South as originally planned, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no 3ustification for requiring Barbecue Inns Inter-
national to continue to provide a contract and bond for security on the performance
of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorised and directed to cancel Contract No.
2029 and release the Allied Mutual Insurance Company, Des Moines, Iowa, from liability
for any and all~acts of Barbecue Inns International, Inc., committed or incurred in
violation of said Contract No. 2029, on and after the 8th day of June, 1970.
Adopted by the City Council this 8th day of June, 1970.
