1970-4359r~~_. . ,~, •~ ~ RESOLUTION NO. 4359 APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF A NEW USE OF TAX-FORFEITED LANDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows: 1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public health, safety, convenience, prosperity and general welfare to use the following described parcel of land, conveyed to the Village of Richfield on November 15, 1946, for park purposes as well as for storm sewer basin purposes: - The South 157 6/10 feet of the East one-half of the North East one-quarter of the South West one-quarter of the North West one-quarter (EZ of NE4 of SW4 of NW4), and the North eighty (80) feet of the East one-half of the South East one-quarter of the South West one-quarter of the North West one-quarter (EZ of SE4 of SW4 of NW4), Section 26, Township 28, Range 24; that part of Mud Lake Bottom lying within the West one-half of North West one-quarter of North East one-quarter of North West one- quarter (WZ of NW4 of NE4 of NW4), Section 26, Town- ship 28, Range 24. 2. The Mayor and the Manager are hereby authorized and directed to make application for approval of a new use of tax-forfeited lands, for such parcel, inasmuch as such parcel was conveyed to the Village of Richfield (predecessor of the City of Richfield) for the purpose of forming a portion of the storm sewer basin and the city is now in the process of improving the area in which such tract is located for park purposes as vue11 _as storm sewer basin purposes .
