(.(~~ RESOLUTION ON SWIMMTNG POOL POLICY WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has a municipal swimming pool which. is open for operation during the warm months of the year, and WHEREAS, the city council wishes to adopt a comprehensive policy to be used as a guide in the operation of the municipal swimming pool, :NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD THAT the city adopt the following policies. regarding the municipal swimming pool: 1, That tickets for the pool be sold only to Richfield residents, except that permanent Richfield City employees may purchase tickets regardless of place of reside ice . 2. That pool use be limited to the Parks and Recreation Program swimming lessons from 8:00 a, m. to 12:30 p. m, on Monday through Friday. 3. That the pool be open for general swimming purposes from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of adult night and teen night. On Tuesday nights the period from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. will be limited to teenage use and on Thursday nights the period from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. will be limited to adult use, 4. That the pool be open for general swimming purposes from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. holidays and Sundays and 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays. 5. That the Richfield Swim Club be permitted to use pool facilities from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday in accordance with their agreement with the city.. 6. That the pool be closed for general swimming purposes. in order to permit a one day invitational swim meet sponsored by the Richfield Swim Club on a Saturday or Sunday during the month of August. 7. That the usage- fees for the Richfield Swimming Pool including -tax be $15.50 per family season ticket; $7,25 per single season ticket; $6.25 per guest ticket!; $10.00 per summer guest season ticket and 75~ per individual ticket. 8. That an additional fee of $1.00 be added to all season ticket prices except summer:;guest season tickets after May 28, 1970. 9. That se~s'ori tickets be nontransferable and that any violation, misrep- resentdtiori or falsification by an individual result in forfeiture of the season ticket and all monies paid for the ticket and exclusion from the pool for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the violation. _2_ -• 10. That civilian adult crosswalk guards be utilized to patrol'. the 66th Street crosswalk during those hours when the pool is open for general swimming purposes.
