RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON STORM SEWER CONSTRUCTION
67TH STREET FROM OLIVER AVENUE TO MORGAN AVENUE
69TH STREET FROM PENN AVENUE TO OLIVER AVENUE
CITY FROJECT N0. 617
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following area:
6.7th Street from Oliver Avenue to Morgan Avenue
69th Street from Penn Avenue to Oliver Avenue
by storm sewer construction and appurtenances thereto and to assess all property
benefitted for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen Mayeron &
Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a
preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area
to be assessed, and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
2. That the storm sewer improvement listed in this resolution shall hereafter
be known as City Project No. 617.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction
Fund, such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished-for the
construction of this project.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 23rd day of March,
1970.
