RESOLUTION N0. 4294
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
VICINITY OF 62ND AND PORTLAND AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, State of Minnesota,
as follows:
1. A proposed purchase agreement, dated November 18, 1969, providing for the
purchase of a tract of land adjacent to Legion Lake and ~,ocated in the vicinity of
62nd Street and Portland Avenue, as more fully described in such purchase agreement,
is hereby given Clerk's File No. 8120 and is ordered to be placed on file.
2. It ia.hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public healtYl,
convenience, prosperity and general welfare to acquire such tract of land for park
-;and other municipal purposes.
3. Such purchase agreement is therefore approved and adopted and the actions of
the city managez axed city attorney heretofore taken with such agreement are hereby
ratified.
4. The city manager, finance director and attorney are hereby authorized and
directed to take such further action as maq be necessary to complete the purchase of
such property in accordance with such agreement.
5. The purchase price of $1,500 for the purchase of ,such property, shall be
paid out of the Capital Outlay Account of the Special Revenue Fund.
