RESOLUTION DETERMINING RESULTS OF GENERAL ELECTION OF THE
-CITY OF RICHFIELD HELD TUESDAY, NOV. 4, 1969
BE IT RBSOLVLD by the city council of the City of Richfield that it b'e
hereby foutfd and determined that the general election held.in.and for said
city on November 4, -1969, for the purpose of electing a mayor and'-one
councilman, the results are as follows:
Total Number of Votes Cast _5,125.
For Mayor: Stan Olson 2,810
Donald L. Parry 2,285
Roger Peterson (write-in) 1
For Councilman: Arthur. P. Anderson 3,500
Richard Oakes 1,518
Glen Sampson (write-in) 1
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following candidates, having received the
ma3ority of votes cast and counted, ~re~hereby declared elected to fill the
offices of mayor for two years and councilman for three years, respectively,
from and. after the first of January, 1970:
Mayor: Stanley W. Olson
6420 Vincent Ave. S. 2 yrs.
Councilman: Arthur P. Anderson 6620 Logan Ave, S. 3 yrs.
