RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Murphy Dil Corporation
621 N. L31ac Drive, Golden Valley
Location: 7744 Penn Avenue South
Use: Gasoline Service Station
~JHEREAS.., Murphy Oil Cgrporation,~621 N. Lilac Drive, Golden Valley, Minnesota, had
an off street-parking agreement with-the City of Richfield relating to 7744 Penn Avenue
South, which contract bears the designation of Contract No.1037 and which contract was
guaranteed by a-bond of the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company of Baltimore,
Maryland, in the sum of $10,500.00, and
WHEREAS,-Murphy bil Corporation has complied with-the provisions of said agreement
and the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company~of Maryland now seeks to be relieved
of any further obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there•appears to be no justification for requiring the United States Fidelity
• and Guexanty Company to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said
agreement.
NOW THEREFORE,"BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That.the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the United States
Fidelity and Guaranty Company of Maryland for any and aka acts of Murphy Oil Corporation,

committed or incurred in v3~.olation of said Contract No. 1037, on and after the 27th day
of October,`-1969.
