1, That the city clerk has, with the assistance of the city engineer, c~.lculated
the proper amounts to be a$sessed for the construction of curb and gutter, City
Project Noa 578 against every assessable lot, piece, or, parcel of land especially

meet so made up was filed with the city clerk for m®re than 15 days prior to the
assessment hearing and was open to. public inspection during said period
2e The no•~ice has been duly published and a public hearing heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this council could meet and pass upon the proposed
assessment,
30 'that an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their
objections,. if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at said
public hearings
40 'that the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Noo 578,
_ and after carefully considering all the facts, the ~enefits to each lot, piece
or parcel of land and fu11y advising itself in the premises, has found and deter®
mined and hereby declares that each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land ins
eluded in said proposed assessment ro11 was improved by reason of the construction
of said City Project Noo 578, and has been and is specially benefited in the amount
set out in said proposed .assessment ro11 opposite each such 1ot,.piece or parcel
of Lando
5o The proposed total assessment in the amount of $3,871018 is hereby affirmed,
adopted and confirmed and the sums fixed and named. in said proposed s.ssessment
are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special as~a~ssment for each of
said lots,. pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and se's,`d amount so set out is
hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land
therein describede
6a Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified
by the city clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be and constitute
the special assessment for said curb and gutter construction, City` Project Noo 5780
70 `The assessment with accruing interest, sha11 be alien upon the property included
therein, concurrent with general tsixes, and sha11 be payable in equal annual instal l
manta extending over a period of 10 yearsa The first installment sh~.ll be payable
on tree first Monday in January of 1970e A11 assessments shall bear interest at.the
rate of 6% per annum, `I'o the first installment sha11 be added interest on the ens
