RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
B. T. A. Construction Co.
3435 Colfax Avenue South
Location: 6733 and 6745 Cedar Avg. So.
Use: One 14 Unit and one 13 Unit
Apartment Building
WHEREAS, B. T. A. Construction Co., 3435 Colfax Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minn-
esota, had an off-street parking agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 6733
and 6745 Cedar Avenue South, which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 909,
and which contract was guaranteed by a bond of the Home Owners Insurance Company,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the amount of $8,500.00, and
WHEREAS, B. T. A. Construction Co. has complied with the provisions of said agree-
meat and the Home Owners Insurance Company now seeks to be relieved of any further
obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring B. T. A. Construction Co.
to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, $E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Home Owners
Insurance Company for any and all acts of B. T. A. Construction Co. committed or incurred
in violation of said Contract No. 909, on and after the 8th day of September, 1969.
Adopted by the City Council this 8th day of September, 1969.
