RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Shell Oil Co.
778 Otto Street, St. Paul
Location: 6545 Portland Ave. So.
Use: Gasoline Service Station
WHEREAS, Shell Oil Co., 778 Otto Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, had anOff-Street
Parking agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 6545 Portland Avenue South,
which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 1036, and-which contract was
guaranteed by a bond of the Traveler's Indemnity Company, 80 John Street, New York,
New York, in the sum of $6,500.00, and
WHEREAS, said She11 Oil Co. has complied with the provisions of said agreement
and the Traveler's Indemnity Company now seeks to be relieved of any further obligation
under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no 3ustification for requring said Shell Oil Company
to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the Citq Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Traveler's
Indemnity Company for any and all acts of Shell Oil Company committed or incurred in
violation of said Contract No. 1x36, on and after the 11th day of August, 1969.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 11th day of August, 1969.
