RESOLUTION N0. 4224
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TD BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR CITY PROJECT N0; 572
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore ordered work done by day labor for
the improvement of all streets and alleys in the City of Richfield known as
City Project No. 572, 1968 Annual Street Improvement and Oiling Program, and
WHEREAS, the net cost of construction of City Project No. 572 has been deter=
mined to be $104,685.25, and of this cost the City of Richfield will pay
$12,181..50 as its share of the cost including its share as a property owner,
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a total of 833,477.0 assessable -,
front feet against which the foregoing costs shall be assessed,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield
as follows;
].. That the cost of City Project No, 572 to be specially assessed
is hereby declared to be $116,686,78.
2. That the assessable front feet against which such costs shall be
assessed is hereby declared to be 833,477.0.
3. That the-rage-per assessable front foot is hereby declared to be
fourteen cents (0.14).
4. That the city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to
be assessed for City Project No. 572 against each lot, piece and parcel of
land within the City of Richfield affected, without regard of cash valuation,
as provided by law.
5. The city clerk shall, upon .completion of such proposed assessment,
file a-copy thereof in his office for public inspection, and shall notify the
city council.
