RESOLUTION DECLARING-COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREm
PARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL F'OR CITY PROJ. N0; 578
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the-year 1968a
Curb and .gutter on Logan Ave: from 62nd St. to 63rd St:
WHEREAS, Contract costs have been paid in the sum of $4,211.27.
WHEREAS, Other costs incurred are $1,188.73.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
1. That the cost of curb and .gutter on Logan Ave. from 62nd
to 63rd St. to be specially assessed is hereby declared to
be at least 20% of total cost or $4,746.52, and therefore
this sum will be assessed-.against privately owned property
benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall run for a period of ten years.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to
be assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot,
piece, or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valu-
ation, as provided bylaw, and he shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such
proposed assessment.
