RESOLUTION N0. 4218
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPAR-
ATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CITY PROJECT N0. 565
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1968:
Curb and .gutter and concrete street surfacing on 76th St. from
Portland Ave. to Cedar Ave.
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $31,769.79.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
1. That-the cost of curb and gutter and concrete street surfacing
on 76th Street from Portland Ave. to Cedar Ave. to be specially
assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20% of total cost or
$11,607.45, and therefore this sum will be assessed against
privately owned property benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall~.run for a period of ten years.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to
be assessed for such improvement dgainst every assessable lot,
piece or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valua-
tion, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such pro-
posed assessment in his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such pro-
- posed assessment.
