RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING

WHEREAS, Harry J. Goodyear, 6620 Penn Avenue South and Joseph J. Mauer, 9500
Russell Avenue South, had an Off-Street Parking agreement with the City of Richfield
relating to 2315-19-23 West 66th Street, which contract bears the designation of
Contract No. 1031, and which contract was guaranteed by a bond of the Capitol Indemnity
Corporation, Madison, Wisconsin, in the sum of $6,600.00, and
WHEREAS, said Harry J. Goodyear and Joseph J. Mauer have complied with the pro-

visions of said agreement and the Capitol Indemnity Corporation now seeks to be
relieved of any further obligation under said bond, and
WEiEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring said Harry J. Goodyear
and Joseph J. Mauer to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of
said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as Follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Capitol
Indemnity Corporation for any and all acts of Harry J. Goodyear and Joseph J. Mauer,
committed or incurred in violation of said Contract No. 1031, on and after the 28th
day of July, 1969.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 28th day of July, 1969.
