RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS-AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS`ON'AUGUST 18TH, 1969, FOR CONCRETE
CURB AND GUTTER AND APPURTENANCES"THERETO ON BOTH SIDES
THOMAS-AVENUE FROM 62ND STREET TO 64TH STREET.
CITY PROJECT N0. 611
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4177, passed by the Council on the 12th day of May, 1969,
a preliminary report for City Project No. 611 was so ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4182, passed by the Council on the 26th day of
May, 1969,~the preliminary report so ordered was received and a Public Hearing on said
improvement was so ordered to be held on the 23rd day of June, 1969, and
WHEREAS, the Hearing was adjourned to the 28th day of July, 1969, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4203 passed by the Council on the 14th day of July, 1969,
the City Engineer was so ordered to prepare plans and specifications for Concrete Curb
and Gutter and Appurtenances thereto, as outlined in said Resolution No. 4177 and has
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval..
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the•City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
. esota: ,
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved, Clerk's File
No,
2. That sealed bids will be publicly opened by the City Manager on the
18th day of August, 1969, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
and that such bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council
for award on the 25th day-of August, 1969.
3. That all bids shall be filed with the City Manager no later than 11:30
A. M. on said improvement as required by law.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for
bids on said improvement as required by law.
