1969-4120r~.~~ RESOLUTION Noe 4120 RESOLUTION OPPOSING FARE INCREASE APPLICATION OF MINNEAPOLIS T1~NSIT COMPANY WIiEREAS, Minneapolis Transit Company, together with the Sto Paul Trans 3.t Company, have made application to the Public Service Commission of-the State of Minnesota requesting an Order to establish permanent fares for bus trans-~ portation at a higher level, ioeo, an increase of 5~ in the basic minimum adult.. fare, and WIiEREAS, it is in the interest of the residents and taxpayers of the:City of Richfield that bus fares be kept at the lowest reasonable level, end WTiEREAS, a hearing on such proposed fare increase will commence before the Public Service Commission on February 13th, 1969; NOW, TI~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield as followsa to This council herewith declares its opposition to the aforementioned fare iaac~rease 2~ The City Manager is authorized and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Public Service Commission and to take such other and further action as he sha11 deem advisable to make known the purport of this resolutiono Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this-10th day of February, 19690 Stanley Wa Olson Mayor ATTESTa Th®ma~ ~o pan clerk
