RESOLUTION Noe 4120
RESOLUTION OPPOSING FARE INCREASE APPLICATION OF MINNEAPOLIS
T1~NSIT COMPANY
WIiEREAS, Minneapolis Transit Company, together with the Sto Paul Trans 3.t
Company, have made application to the Public Service Commission of-the State
of Minnesota requesting an Order to establish permanent fares for bus trans-~
portation at a higher level, ioeo, an increase of 5~ in the basic minimum adult..
fare, and
WIiEREAS, it is in the interest of the residents and taxpayers of the:City
of Richfield that bus fares be kept at the lowest reasonable level, end
WTiEREAS, a hearing on such proposed fare increase will commence before the
Public Service Commission on February 13th, 1969;
NOW, TI~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield
as followsa
