1969-4110rRESOLUTION N0. 4110 ~' RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS FOR CONSENT TO • THE PROVIDING OF A THIRD SANITARY SEWER SERVICE BY THE CITY OF RICHFIELD TO METROPOLITAN AIRPORTS COMMISSION PROPERTIES OUTSIDE THE CITY OF RICHFIELD WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Airports Commission and one of its prospective tenants has made application to the City of Richfield for a third sanitary sewer connection, and WHEREAS, it appears that there is sufficient capacity in the sanitary sewer mains of the City of Richfield to provide such service, and WHEREAS, the contract of the City of Richfield with the City of Minneapolis, relating to the interconnection of sanitary sewers, provides that the City of Richfield shall not serve areas outside its boundaries without the consent of the City of Minneapolis, and WHEREAS, it appears that it would be mutually beneficial to the City of Richfield and the Metropolitan Airports Commission for the City of Richfield to provide such sanitary sewer service to the property involved; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, of the City of Richfield, Minn- esota, as follows: 1. The city manager is hereby authorized and directed to make written application to the City of Minneapolis to obtain its consent for the City of Richfield to provide sanitary sewer service to the following described property located outside the City of Richfield and belonging to the Metropolitan Airports Commission: "That part of the Northwest ~ of Section 31, Township 28, Range 23, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Section 31, thence North along the West line of said Section 31 a distance of 757.5 feet; thence East deflecting to the right 90° 02' 30" a distance of 1016.45 feet; thence at right angles North 4151.83 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be de- scribed; thence South along the last described course 1241.36 feet; thence at a right angle West 920 feet; thence at a right angle North 999.12 feet; thence deflecting to the right 45° 19' 47" a distance of 360.58 feet; thence deflecting to the right 45° 38' 34" a distance of 6b3.b7 feet to the actual point of beginning." 2. The Manager and administrative staff of the city are hereby authorized to take such other and further action as may be necessary in order to make such applica- tion to the City of Minneapolis.
