RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO J. A. DANENS & SON,

13E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as
follows
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of J. A. Danens & Son, Inc. 7175
Cahill Road, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for
the dredging of Wood Lake, City Pro3ect No. 549.
2. That the bid of J..•A;._Dan.ens & Son, Inc., for the dredging of Wood Lake, at
the price contained in their proposal of January 24th, 1969, with an estimated con-
struction cost of $157,685.00, is~hereby accepted.
3. That it is hereby determined that the bid of E. H. Renner & Sons, 5465. Co.
Rd. 18, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for drilling
of a Well at Wood Lake, City Project No. 549.
4. That the bid of E. H. Renner & Sons, for the drilling of a Well at Wood Lake,
at the price contained in their proposal of January 24th, 1969, with an estimated con-
struction cost of $7,217.00, is hereby accepted.
5. That it is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to construct such
projects.

6. That the proposed contract between J. A. Danens & Son/an~ the City of Richfield,
be given Clerk's File No.__ and be placed on file. That the said proposed contract
for the construction of said pro3ect is hereby approved and adopted and the N~ayor and
Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf
of the City of Richfield and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the
City Seal thereto.
7. That the proposed contract between E. H.. Renner & Sons and the City of Richfield,
be given Clerk°s File No. __ and be placed on file. That the said proposed contract
for the construction of said pro3ect is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor and
Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf
of the City of Richfield and the City Clerlc is authorized and directed to affix the
City Ssa]. thereto.
8. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the City Project No. 549 construction fund.
9. That the Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents to
the unsuccessful bidders upon the e~cecution of said proposed contract.
