RESOLUTION No. 4085
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF KEEFE PROPERTY
COMPRISING PART OF THE WOOD LAKE AREA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota
as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to the public
health, safety,. convenience, prosperity and general welfare to acquire the
property commonly known as the Keefe property, located on the west side of
Lyndale Avenue adjacent to Wood Lake between 69th and 70th Streets.
2. The proposed purchase agreement providing for the purchase of such
property by the City of Richfield is hereby found to be a reasonable agree-
went, is hereby given Clerk°s File No. C-7941 and ordered to be placed
on file.
3. The Mayor and Acting Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into such agreement for and on behalf of the City of Richfield, and the
Acting Manager and his administrative staff are hereby authorized and directed to
take such other and further action as is necessary to effect such purchase in
accordance with such purchase agreement.
4, A11 sums payable pursuant to such agreement as the purchase price for
such property or in payment of unpaid special assessments levied against such
property shall be paid out of the Construction Account of the Special Revenue
Fund.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, this 12th
day of November 1968.
