RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON CITY PROJECT N0. 547
BE IT RESOLVER by the city council of the City of Richf~.e~.d, $ertnepin Cpunty,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the city clerk has, with the assistance pf the city engi,~esr, calculated
the proper amounts to be assessed for the construct~.or~ of .Curb and gutter, C~;ty
Project No. 547 against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land speC~ally
benefited thereby in accordance with the prpvi~ions of lawn and the proposed s,ssess~
meat so made up was filed with the city clerk-for more than l5 days p~ipr to the
assessment hearing and was open to publio ~.nspection dur~.ng said per~LOd.
2. The notice has been duly published and a publio Yiear~.ng heretofore duly held
as required by law so that this council could mget and pass upon the proposed
assessment.
3. That an opportunity has been given to all intexested persons to pxesent their
objections, if any, to such proposed assessment or to any item thereof at paid
public hearing.
4. That the city council has heretofore duly established City Project Np. 547~~.
and after carefully considering all the facts the benefits to sash ~,o~, p~:eas
or parcel of land and fully advising itself in the premiaes~ has found. axed, deter-
mined and hereby declares that each and every lot,:piece, or paree~, o~ sand aui-
eluded in said proposed assessment roll. was improved by xeason of tYie con~tructic~n
of said City Project No. 547, and has been and is Specially benefited in-the am~puzlt
set out in said proposed assessment roll oppos~.te ®ach such lot, p~tec~e or pa~xce7
of land.
5• The proposed total assessment in the amount of ~4,_789~71 is hereby aff~.x~ted,
adopted and confirmed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment
are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special. assessment for .each of
said lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively, and sa~.d amount so-set out iS
hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, ar parcels of land
therein described.
6. Said assessment is hereby affirmed, adopted, confirmed and shall be certified
by the city clerk and filed in his office, and shall thereupon be .and constitute
the special assessment for said curb and gutter construction, pity Project No. 547..
7. The assessment with accruing interest, shall be a l~,en upon the prppexty isic~;uded
therein, concurrent with general taxes, and shall be payable in equa],.annual ~.nst.al~;~
menu extending over a period of 10 years. The first inst~,7.lment Sha~~. be payble
on the first Monday in January of 1869. All assessments shall bear interest at the
rate of 6/ per annum. To the first installment shall be added interest on the e~-.
tire assesment from the date of this resolution until ~3ecember 31, 199. mo-each
subsequent installment shall be added interest for one year on a~,l unpaid ins~a~.Z~-
meats.
All assessments and interest thereon shall be epllected anc~ paid~ovex ~.n the. same
manner as ether municipal taxes.
