RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Murphy Oil Corporation
2950 Central Ave. N.E., Mpls.
Location: 6300 Lyndale Avenue So.
Use: Gasoline Service Station
WHEREAS, Murphy Oil Corporation, 2950 Central Ave. N.E., had an Off-Street Parking
agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 6300 Lyndale Avenue South, which con-
tract bears the designation of Contract No. 996, and which contract was guaranteed by
a bond of the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, Baltimore, Maryland, in the
sum of $12,000.00, and
WHEREAS, said Murphy Oil Corporation has complied with the provisions ofl"'said
.agreement and the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company now seeks to be relieved
~f any further obligation un~a~--~ said bond, and 1
WHEREAS, there appears *o be no justification for requiring said United States
Fidelity and Guaranty Company to continue to provide a bond for security on the per-
formance of said agreement.
TdOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn.,
as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the United
States Fidelity and Guarnty Company for any and all acts of Murphy Oil Corporation
committed or incurred in violation of said Contract No. 996, on and after the 12th day of
August, 1968,
Adopted by the City Council this 12thday of August, 1965.
