RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING

G~'dEREAS, Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp., P. 0. Boat 9®1®9 Nashville, Tenn., had an
Off-Street Parking agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 6645 Lyndale Ave.
Soo, which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 1065,and which contract was
guaranteed by a bond of the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland, Baltimore, Mary-
land, in the sum of $3,100x00, and
WHEREAS, said Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. has complied with the provisions of said
agreement and the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Mary~.and, Baltimore, Maryland, now
seeks to be relieved of any ~_y~"th~er obligation under said bond, and
TnlHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring said Fidelity and
Deposit Company of Maryland to continue to provide a bond for security on .the performance
of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn.,
as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Fidelity and
Deposit Coa~of Maryland far any' and all~acts of Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. committed
or incurred in violation of said Contract No. 1065, on and after the 22nd day of July,
1968.
Adopted by the City Council this 22nd day oaf July, 1968.
