1968-3979r~~i7 RESOLUTION N0. 3979 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO SIGMUND TENOLD, 10741 BEARD AVENUE SOUTH, MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, FOR CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER CONSTRUCTION ON BOTH SIDES OF LOGAN AVENUE FROM 62ND STREET TO 63RD STREET. CITY PROJECT N0. 578 Clerlt's File No. 7855 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Sigmund Tenold, 10741 Beard Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for the construction of City Project No. 578. 2. That the bid of Sigmund Tenold for the construction of the above referneced project, on a unit price basis at the price contained in their proposal of ,June 17th, 1968,with an estimated construction cost of $3,557.75, is hereby accepted. 3. That the proposed c©ntract between Sigmund Tenold and the City of Richfield be given Clerk's File No. 7855 and be placed on file. That said proposed contract for the construction of said City Project is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and di~.ected to execute said contract for and on behalf of the City of Richfield and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the City seal thereto. 4. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged against the Construction Fund. 5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved. 6. That th,e Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
