WHE~~ASS pursuant to a R.c~solution designated as Resolution No. 3926 passed by the
City Council on.January 8th, 1968, the City F~gineer has prepared plans and specifica~
tions for the improvemment of public streets and alleys in the City of Richfield by
penetration oiling, 2" bituminous stabilized base, and bituminous seal coat, and has
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval, and
WFiE~R~AS, such improvement is in its entirety of a type which under Minnesota law
it is pexmissibl® for this city to construct by day labor, and
WHE'Rk~AS, this Council has heretofore advertised fox bids and awarded a contract
for certain of the bituminous aid related materials needed in the malc3.ng of such
an improvement.
NOW THFtRE~'ORF1, BF1 IT RffiOLVED by the City Council of the City of R;I:chfi®ld, as
followso
1. Such plans and specifications shall be given Clerk's File No.4~ and the
same are hereby approved and ordered placed on file.
2. The City ~gineer shall proceed under the direction of the City Council and
the City Manager, as given from time to time, to carry on all work in connection with
such improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications herein approved, keep-
ing such account of all costs and expenses incurred in connection therewith as may be
required by lawn .
3. Financing of said improvement is to be provided b~ transfer of monies from the
Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund (PIR)0 Special Assessments hereafter leviQd by
reason of said improvement shall be used as a source of monies to repay said PIR~ Fund.
