WHE~A3, Minneapolis Gas Company has indicated its willingness to convey to the
City of Richfield a strip of land six feet in length adjacent to and south of the
municipal water plant, reserving an easement for ingress and egress, and
WHA~tF+~AS, the consideration of such transfer would be that the City of Richfield
convey to Minneapolis Gas Company anon-exclusive ®asement over the southerly 12 feet
of the ad3acent property of the City of Richfield For ingress and egress to and from
the ad3acent property of Minneapolis Gas Company, and
WH~AS, such transfer and easement appears to be in the best interests of the
City of Richfield and w3.11 involve obtaining a necessary 'strip of land for the city
without cash consideration;

hereby given Clerks File No. 7723 and ordered to be placed on file,
2. A proposed easement agreement from the City of Richfield to Minneapolis.Gas
Company iii hereby given Cl®rk~s-File No. 7723A and ordered to be placed on file.
3. Upon receipt of an executed copy of the deed referred t0 in Paragraph 1 of
this resolution, the mayor and manager are hereby aa~thorized and directed to deliver
to Minneapolis Gas Company an executed copy of the document referred to in Paragraph
2 of this resolution.
